Bones

Bones do more than give you a shape. Learn about bones and what they tell us about the body around them. Students will dissect owl pellets to find and analyze bones from an owl’s prey.

Let us bring the farm to you! From egg to chick to adult, chickens are fascinating animals. Students will meet some of Dodge's chickens up close and learn about the life of a chicken.

Minnesota Wildlife

Introduce students to the diversity of animals living in Minnesota. Through hands-on experiences with feathers, fur, bones, other biofacts, and visits with live animals, students will learn about some of the wild animals found in Minnesota.

Raptors: Hunters from Above

  • All Ages

Bring the spirit of the wilderness to your classroom. This program features an interactive dialogue between the naturalist and students while meeting an educational raptor up close. The naturalist will bring along props and activities to show first-hand what makes these creatures so unique.

Whether they love, respect, or fear them, people are fascinated by the lives of reptiles and amphibians. Learn about the amazing lives of snakes, turtles, salamanders, and more. Live animals will be brought in and students will have an opportunity to touch them.
