Barn

A three story barn was constructed in 1971 and is the main feature and facility of the Farm program. The lower level is accessible by an overhead garage door and a conventional door on both ends, and houses our resident animals:

• Fjord horse
• Burro
• Guinea Hogs
• Sheep
• Goats
• Cows

The upper floor is accessible through a sliding door at the end of the wheelchair accessible ramp and staircase at the rear.

A hay jump with associated entrance/exit ramps and wood shaving storage area are found in opposite corners. A hay chute (trap door), demonstration food bins and an antique seed grader and corn sheller complete the furnishings.
