Getting Involved
There are many different ways to get involved at the nature center. We offer a variety of opportunities to choose from to meet your needs.
Dodge could not accomplish its mission as well as it does without the help of volunteers. From helping out with mailings to pulling buckthorn, there’s sure to be a task that aligns with your special talents and skills.
The nature center has long prided itself on being a training ground for naturalists. Teaching internships are offered year-round at the preschool and nature center. Other opportunities include working at the farm and the development office.
If you are looking for a way to help support the nature center while reaping the many benefits available, consider a family, individual or student membership. Members enjoy discounts to Dodge programs, are invited to special events for members only, AND receive discounts to many local businesses by showing their membership card.
As a private, non-profit organization, Dodge relies on donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to continue to provide the great educational programming that benefits over 40,000 children and their families each year. Whether a gift to our general operating fund, a special gift in honor or memory of a loved one, or a planned gift to the nature center in your will – your generous contribution is a great way to stay involved.
