Fall Break Camp Details

Dates October 17 and 18, single-day camps.
Time 8:15 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Location Main Property in West St. Paul or Shepard Farm in Cottage Grove.
Double-check the location before you register.
Ages Camps are grouped by kids in grades K–1, 2–4, and 5–8.
Cost $65. Scholarships are available for financial assistance—apply online.

How to register


We moved to a new account-based registration system, SmartRec by Amilia, since the last camp season. Create your Amilia account here if you don’t already have one.

  1. Navigate to your child’s age group below, select a camp, and click Register Now. You’ll be directed to the event page on the Amilia website.
  2. Click Register and log in to your Amilia account if you haven’t already done so.
  3. Select which household member(s) to register by clicking the person+ icon next to their name. A green checkbox indicates that member’s registration has been added to the cart.
  4. Click Checkout and follow the prompts to complete your purchase. If you would like to register for another camp, return to this page and follow the same steps. Your first registration will remain in your cart for 30 minutes.

Autumn on the Farm

Date: Thursday, October 17
Location: Main Property in West St. Paul

Eat and play your way around the farm this fall break! Meeting farm animals and making fall treats will fill your day as we celebrate the season.

The Nature of Art

Date: Thursday, October 17
Location: Shepard Farm in Cottage Grove

Nature will provide the materials! Create art with clay, rocks, twigs, leaves, sand, bark and whatever else you can find outdoors. Spend the day immersed in art as we use nature as our guide.

Animal Adventures

Date: Friday, October 18
Location: Main Property in West St. Paul

Explore the wonderful world of animals! Search the habitats of Dodge to figure out what animals are doing to prepare for winter. Look for clues to learn which animals hibernate, migrate, or stay active in the cold. You’ll use your senses as you meet furry, scaly, and feathery animals.

Forest Fun

Date: Friday, October 18

Make the forest your playground! Hike the trails and experience the fun of mud, sticks, and your own imagination. Follow your curiosity to investigate the sights, sounds, and natural items you find as you play.

Predator-Prey

Date: Thursday, October 17
Location: Main Property in West St. Paul

It’s an “eat or be eaten” world when you’re a wild animal. Learn about the lives of both predator and prey as you practice techniques for finding prey and staying hidden. Games and adventure await!

Bring your hiking boots and a sense of adventure as we go exploring through Shepard Farm! You’ll be busy hiding in the forest, climbing trees, building forts, cooking over campfires, and more.

Farm Foods

Date: Friday, October 18

It’s harvest time! Spend the day learning where food comes from as you get to experience life on the farm. Lend a hand with barnyard chores and feeding the animals. After the work is done, cook a delicious treat to eat.

Let nature be your muse! Create with clay, paint with feathers, and print with leaves. Hike through the forest and prairie to gather natural materials as inspiration for your beautiful artwork.

Outdoor Skills
