Bees to Mead: Drinking Honey

Join Dodge Nature Center and White Bear Meadery for a sweet adventure. Together, we’ll explore the science of honey and how it’s made into mead, the world’s oldest alcoholic beverage. You’ll put on a bee suit and get up close to a honey bee hive. Then we’ll learn about and sample meads crafted by White Bear Meadery. This class welcomes adults, age 21+. Bee there or bee square!
Preregistration is required. Registration typically closes the day before the program at 12 p.m. Program fees are final and transfers are not permitted.
This program will be held indoors and outdoors, with CDC and MN Department of Health procedures in place. Based on current guidelines and community levels, face masks are optional for all participants and staff. Dodge continues to monitor COVID-19 levels to determine our masking policy.
