Dodge Nature Preschool Learning Conference
- Thursday, Apr. 25th, 2019
- 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Join Dodge Nature Preschool for a one-day conference. Educators will have the opportunity to observe and learn about nature-based education. Find inspiration, engage in dialogue with colleagues, and learn practical ideas to help incorporate nature-based education into your classroom and school environment.
- Explore Dodge Nature Center’s outdoor spaces and around the preschool on a habitat hike. A naturalist will guide you on an exploration hike through the trails (bring sturdy shoes) . You will learn what natural resources work best to incorporate in your own setting.
- Learn how to blend the wonders of nature with education. Observe the nature preschool classrooms and play with materials in the resource room.
- Dodge Nature Preschool teachers will share how nature is used to lead curriculum. Get hands-on with experiences in art, wild edibles, animal encounters, and more.
$90 per person (includes a light breakfast, lunch, and materials.) Registration will close on April 19, 2019 or until filled. Space is limited and the conference usually fills by April 1. Please park in the Farm Education Entrance 3 lot, located at 1701 Charlton Street in West St. Paul.
