Break out your nature journal to record your exciting observations outdoors at Dodge Nature Center. Each week you’ll explore a new aspect of the natural world with Dodge naturalists!
The largest birds in North America are loaded with adaptations to make them one of nature’s most amazing hunters. Raptors are strong apex predators that can be spotted everywhere, from right in your backyard to along hiking trails. Observe and experience Dodge’s raptors up close to better understand the critical role these birds play in the environment and the threats they face.
This program is designed for families and children ages 3+. Participants ages 13 years and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult from the same household. Adults are free.

This program will be held outdoors, with CDC and MN Department of Health procedures in place. Please dress for the weather. Because of the group setting, face masks are required for your visit and use of hand sanitizer is encouraged.
We allow exemptions for those who have medical or other health conditions, disabilities or mental health, developmental, or behavioral needs that make it difficult to tolerate wearing a face covering. Please email or call us in advance of your program if this exemption applies to you or your child. We will create a plan with you that will ensure the safety of other program attendees and staff while allowing you to participate. Children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old are not required to wear face coverings, but are encouraged to wear a face covering if they can do so without frequently touching or removing it.
