Scout Maple Syrup Time
- Saturday, Mar. 16th, 2019
- 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
This program has been cancelled, but you can still come to the morning maple syrup program this same day/time if it isn't sold out. All scouts are invited to celebrate the return of spring by observing the age-old process of turning maple sap into syrup. Assist with tree tapping, collect sap, visit the evaporator, and sample some delicious maple syrup and sugar. Dress for the weather, this program is held outdoors. This program is designed for both boy and girl scouts in grades K-5th. Pre-registration required and must reflect the exact number of scouts and adults attending. This program cannot accommodate additional walk-ins. Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops may schedule additional programs after school or on weekends that are seasonally and age appropriate (insects, aquatics, wilderness skills, etc.). They run 1-1.5 hrs in length. Email Julie Allen firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire. Programs are subject to availability.
