An event every week at 9:00am on Tuesday, starting April 30, 2019 and repeating until May 21, 2019
Parents are a child’s first and most important teacher. With the guidance of an Early Childhood Environmental Educator, you and your child will explore the wonder of nature together. The day starts with open ended play in Dodge Nature Preschool's Movement Room, then continues with a nature hike. Exploration includes encounters with animals, sights and sounds of the woods and prairies, and discoveries about water. Parents will learn about the benefits of nature for a child’s physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. Children begin cultivating a lifelong relationship with the natural world. Classes meet once per week for four weeks. Dress yourself and child for outdoor play and exploration. This class is limited to children no older than 30 months (born after 9/30/16). No strollers please.
