Being outdoors in winter can be cold, snowy, and challenging—come embrace the season at Dodge! Learn the different ways that humans, animals, and plants have adapted to thrive in Minnesota winters. On a pair of Dodge’s wooden snowshoes (weather-permitting), take comparative measurements of ice thickness and air temperatures, explore different winter technologies, and enjoy some frosty fun with peers!

Dodge celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.

Please note: Participants should dress in gear that’s comfortable for cold temperatures and outdoor hiking.

Preregistration is required. Registration typically closes the day before the program at 12 p.m. Program fees are nonrefundable and transfers are not permitted.
