Fall Break Camps

Registration is open!

Dodge is offering single-day Fall Break Camps on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, from 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day. One unique theme is offered for each group (Grades 1-2, 3-4, and 5-8). Scroll down for camp themes and details below. Camps cost $55. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.

To allow as many kids as possible to experience camp, please register your child for one camp only.

2. If you were awarded a scholarship, please contact us at info@dodgenaturecenter.org to process your reduced payment.
3. If you do not have a scholarship, select one camp below and complete payment.

Camps on October 21


Grades 1-2: Nature Detectives

This camp is nearly full, but there are multiple spaces still available in Nature Detectives camp on Friday, October 22nd (listed below).

Calling all Sherlocks! Become a nature detective to figure out what Dodge’s animals are doing to get ready for winter. Look for clues to learn which animals will hibernate, migrate or stay active in the cold. You’ll use your senses as you try to solve the puzzle of animal activities at the nature center.

Grades 3-4: Wilderness Skills

This camp is now full.  Please instead register for Wilderness Skills on Friday, October 22nd (listed below) or you may email info@dodgenaturecenter.org to request to be added to the waitlist for this camp.

Grades 5-8: Autumn Athletes

Let’s get outside and get moving. Play for par on a local frisbee golf course. Target an apple at our archery range. Throw an axe at pumpkin targets. Leave your screens behind for a day of outdoor sports! All equipment provided.

Practice the skills that will help you thrive and survive in nature. Build a simple and snug survival shelter that will protect you from the elements and serve as your home base. Start a one-match fire to keep you warm, cook food, and send signals. This camp will leave you ready for your next outdoor adventure.
