Dodge is currently offering 14 weeks of Summer Camp between June 21 and August 12 with various themes for each grade group (1-2 and 3-5). Cost of camps vary; see below for details. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.

By signing this registration form I agree that: A) In the event of an emergency, I give permission for Dodge Nature Center to administer first aid and/or obtain emergency medical treatment for my child. I understand that, if necessary, my child will be transported by ambulance to the nearest hospital emergency room. I agree that any cost incurred for any transportation and/or treatment will be my responsibility. B) I understand I will be charged $5 for every 15 minutes if I am late to pick up my child. C) My child will not be permitted to leave with anyone except the person designated on the camp check-in sheet. D) DNC has the right to dismiss a camper without a refund for violating the center’s no tolerance policy. E) Students
requiring supervision beyond the nature center’s child to staff ratio may need to provide an personal aide at my own expense.

Use your resourcefulness to create shelters and structures with sticks, rocks, and leaves. Learn basic fire-building skills and hone your campfire cooking techniques by making tasty food. Creativity is key as you build and cook your way through each day!
It is time to begin your magical training! Come learn how to make potions and use herbs. Learn about magical creatures like snakes, toads and owls. Build gnome homes and hunt for fairies. By the end of the week, you will be ready for your first magic wand!
Hike in the woods, catch frogs, climb trees, jump over streams, and explore Dodge Nature Center’s Shepard Farm. No wild places will be left unexplored in this week of outdoor fun!
Hop like a frog, hunt like a bat, camouflage like a salamander! Learn about Minnesota’s animal kingdom and all the awesome abilities these critters have. Create creature power discs and use your animal abilities to explore the nature center. Team up to protect the animals by helping them find food and safe habitat!
What if you could go on adventures like the ones in your favorite books? Revisit stories you may already know and meet new storybook friends, too. Bring your imagination as we track escaped gingerbread cookies, greet a most unusual squirrel, and meet misbehaving ants. Please note: food allergens like wheat, eggs, peanuts, and milk will be present.
Whether you’re hiding in the prairie, climbing trees in the woods, or jumping over streams, nature will be your playground in this week of outdoor fun. Holding chickens, catching frogs, eating berries—there is so much to do. Bring your sense of adventure!
Sharpen your skills and become the envy of any campout. Practice building shelters, making different types of fires, hunting for wild edibles in the woods, and cooking over a campfire. There will be plenty of time for exploring, camouflage and outdoor challenges!
Pika Pika! Become the very best trainer, like no one ever was. Help Professor Maple with her research and fill in the Dodgé-dex with strange and wonderful creatures. Form a team of your favorite Dodgé-mon and engage in friendly battles with other trainers. Start a fire, sort some sheep, and complete puzzles and other challenges to earn badges and join the Dodge League of Champions!
Get close to the sight, sound, smell, and taste of things from the dark, slimy, and crawly side of nature. Slithering snakes, hopping toads, giant hissing cockroaches, and some “unforgettable snacks” will all be a test of your fortitude. Whether on top of the manure pile or hip-deep in muck on a wetland ramble, this camp is not for the timid!
Calling all budding witches and wizards! Join us for a spellbinding week at Minnesota’s finest School of Magick. You’ll learn the skills needed to create potions, deal with magical creatures, practice defensive arts, and much more.
‘Stick’ around for an adventure filled with duct tape creations made by you! At Dodge Nature Center’s Shepard Farm, you will become a whiz at engineering pop bottle rockets, foam battle swords, and even a survival staff. Imagine, build, and play—the sticky fun way!
The farm is busy with lots of work and activity, but there is always time for fun. Meet the animals and help feed them. Fetch a pail of water (or two) from the well. Collect eggs in the chicken coop and play some old-time farm games!
Return to some of your favorite outdoor summer camp activities! Build forts and shelters, make fires and cook food over them, and forage for wild foods to eat. Explore, create, and play in the woods, wetlands, and prairie of Dodge.
