Girl Scout Maple Syrup Time

Celebrate the return of spring by observing the age-old process of turning tree sap into syrup. Observe a tree tapping demonstration, collect sap, visit the evaporator, and sample some delicious maple syrup.  Don’t forget to dress for the weather; we will spend time outdoors. For scouts K through 8th grade.

Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops may schedule additional programs afterschool or on weekends that are seasonally and age appropriate (insects,aquatics, wilderness skills, etc.) Programs are subject to availability.  Theyrun 1 hr to 1.5 hrs in length and a minimum of 10 scouts is required.  Email jallen@dodgenaturecenter.orgto inquire.
