Coal Forge Blacksmithing Date Night (One-day Workshop)

Grab a friend, partner, spouse, or kid (ages 16+) and join instructors from Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center for a blacksmithing workshop at Dodge’s new forge at Shepard Farm! In this short workshop, you’ll use fire and hammer to shape red hot iron into interesting objects that will bring out your personal creativity. Project options include simple items like skewers, roasting forks, cheese cutters, or decorative knots. Your dynamic duo will leave with unique pieces forged by your very own hands!

No experience necessary. All materials and consumables included in class cost.

Preregistration is required. Registration typically closes the day before the program at 12 p.m. Program fees are final and transfers are not permitted.

Registration Instructions

The $145 registration cost covers one pair/two people. Here’s how to register:

1. Under ‘Quantity’, select the number of pairs. For example, 1 = two people, 2 = four people.
2. Under ‘Pair #1’, enter the first participant name if different from Billing Information.
3. Under ‘Participant #2’, enter the second participant name.
