Join Minnesota Master Naturalists at Dodge. Dodge Nature Center features wetlands, maple-basswood forest, and acres of restored prairie. Dodge includes a model of an early 1900s working farm, and a modern aviary, housing non-releasable raptors that are used in programming and education. Using the nature center as a home base, explore the flora and fauna on location, and also take daily field trips to the Mississippi River to learn about the geologic and cultural history. Explore the human impact in this area from the time of woodland native people, and see how the river is still shaping our lives in current day.
In addition to indoor and outdoor classroom learning, participants will complete a group service project in partnership with the host organization, Dodge Nature Center.
