It’s spooky season—come to Shepard Farm in Cottage Grove to enjoy The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a free show presented by the folks at Locally Grown Theatre!

In the shadowed realm of Sleepy Hollow, a quaint village clings to an eerie secret. Drawn to the enigmatic allure of the village and its ethereal beauty Katrina Van Tassel, the new schoolteacher Ichabod Crane find himself ensnared in a web of whispers and legends. But as jealousy rises and the supernatural awakens, Ichabod’s pursuit of love becomes a race for survival, with the legend of the Headless Horseman riding close behind. In a dance of darkness and desire, who will emerge from the misty depths of Sleepy Hollow, and who will vanish into the night, forever lost to its haunting embrace?

Know Before the Show

Bring your own blankets or chairs! Access to Shepard Farm is via a one-way road: enter from 70th Street S. and exit on Jamaica Avenue. Parking is available in the paved lot. Indoor, accessible restrooms will be available. You’re welcome to bring food and drink, but please bring out what you bring in—Dodge Nature Center is a zero-waste facility.
