Nature Playdate: W is for Woodchuck

  • Friday, Feb. 2nd, 2024
  • 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Registration for this program is closed. Visit the Activities Calendar for more upcoming programs.

Where is woodchuck? Will it see its shadow? In winter, woodchucks hibernate in their dens under the snow. Through story time and crafts, learn how woodchucks survive Minnesota’s coldest months. Then head outside to explore Dodge’s forest to search for signs of woodchucks and shadows.

Share your child’s joy in discovering and interacting with nature through outdoor adventures, live animals, and creative play. This is a sensory early childhood experience designed for children ages 2 through Pre-K. All children must be registered, but adults do not need to pay. Please come dressed for the weather.

Preregistration is required. Registration typically closes the day before the program at 12 p.m. Program fees are nonrefundable and transfers are not permitted.
