Taste and Learn: Holiday Cookies

A popular tradition during the holidays is to bake and share cookies special to this seasonal time. Join Dodge naturalists at the new Education Center at Shepard Farm to learn about the origins and traditions associated with holiday cookies. Learn about the plants that become the various spices and extracts used to flavor these seasonal favorites. Sample various kinds of cookies, including America’s first Christmas cookie, and decorate your own cookies to take home. Learning was never so delicious!
Please note: cookies will contain ingredients like wheat flour, eggs, nuts, and milk.
Preregistration is required. Registration typically closes the day before the program at 12 p.m. Program fees are final and transfers are not permitted.
