Winter Fun Fest 2024

Winter Fun Fest 2024 is cancelled.

Our decision to cancel this event is due to unseasonably warm weather and a forecast with little precipitation and barely freezing temperatures. At Dodge Nature Center, we prioritize the safety of all our visitors and staff. Winter Fun Fest activities are snow- and ice-based—we won’t be able to hold this event safely or authentically for the thousands of visitors that come out every year. We’re making this decision today to allow time to coordinate with the many vendors that make this event possible, and our partners at South Robert Street Business Association and the City of West St. Paul.

If the forecast drastically changes, we may offer pop-up events this season for snowshoeing, kicksledding, and other winter activities as in years past. Keep an eye on our social media pages and online calendar.

We’re hoping for better weather next year to offer you an authentic Winter Fun Fest!

Winter Fun Fest returns to West St. Paul and Dodge Nature Center on February 17, 2024! Come on down to Dodge for a free, all-outdoor community event. As snow conditions allow, arctic activities will include sleigh rides, snowshoeing, boot hockey, ice golf on the frozen pond, otter sliding, kicksledding, and more. Join the medallion hunt for your chance to win a prize package!

Plus: bonfires, music, and food and beverages for purchase while you are enjoying the winter fun.
