Join Naturalist Michael Harrison, M.Ed., for a silly and scat-tastic session in our new Stories at Shepard Farm series! We’ll giggle through Everyone Poops, learn how animal scat helps us understand wildlife, make a tasty snack, and head out on a short hike to see what we can find in the woods.

Stories at Shepard Farm invites families to explore the woodlands, farm, and animals at Dodge through nature-themed stories and hands-on fun. Each session includes inside storytime, an outdoor adventure, and an activity (ranging from art projects to snacks) that connects kids with nature in meaningful ways.

This program is designed for ages 2–5 with one caregiver in attendance. All children in this age range are welcome, though participants will get the most out of the experience if they can walk independently and navigate uneven terrain.
