Dancing at Dodge

Join naturalist fellows Simone Gingerich-Boberg and Ceili Allder for a 3-week series of movement exploration at Dodge! Each class will bring movement to the outdoors: swoop like a sparrow, reach like a branch, and leap like a frog. 

Kids will be introduced to grounding warm-up exercises, foundational movement techniques, and investigations of the natural world. Each class will end with an opportunity for participants to apply newfound skills in creating their own movement phrases. 

This program is designed for children ages 5–7. Children will participate independently; adults are welcome to stay onsite during the program. Lesson themes will vary. No experience is required!
