Fall Break Camps 2023

October 19–20, 2023

Registration is open!

Fall Break Camps are on Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20, 8:15 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (with the exception of the overnight camp). Camps are located at the Main Property in West St. Paul. One theme is offered for each grade group: K-1, 2-4 and 5-8. Scroll down for camp themes and details below. Camps range in cost from $60–$65. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.

How to register

  1. Select one camp below and click ‘Register Now’ to submit payment on the event page.
  2. Once payment is submitted, complete your camp registration by filling out the Camper Information Form.

Registration is not complete until both payment and the Camper Information Form are received.

Grades K-1: Fall Harvest

Thursday, October 19

Come explore the woods and prairie as the leaves change color. Meeting farm animals, watching wildlife, making nature art, and cooking fall treats over a campfire will fill your day as we celebrate autumn on the farm.

Grades 2-4: Bone Club

Thursday, October 19

Animals can be big or small. They swim, fly, hop, and slither. But only birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals have bones. Spend the day learning about members of “the bone club” through games, hands-on activities, and meeting some of these animals up close!

Grades 5-8: Overnight Wilderness Adventure

This is an overnight camp from 4:00 p.m. on October 19 to 8:00 a.m. on October 20.

Thursday, October 19–Friday, October 20

A camping adventure awaits you as you experience Dodge after dark! Fun games, a night hike, and making meals over the fire are all in store as you spend the night at the nature center. Bring a sleeping bag, a flashlight, and your sense of adventure.
