Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

August 21
11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
Preschoolers to Family
FREE for everyone

Online registration is closed, but you can still walk-in. Experience one of nature’s most amazing spectacles when the moon eclipses the sun. While we won’t see a total eclipse here in Minnesota, the moon will block over 80% of the sun. Join Dodge naturalists to safely view this astounding sight and learn about the sun, the moon, how eclipses happen, and to participate in other fun-filled activities. It is free to attend this event. Solar Eclipse viwers will be available for purchase for $5 each at 11:30 a.m. until they are sold out. Cookies and lemonade will also be available for $1 each. You are welcome to bring your own viewing glasses and a pinic if you want to have lunch while you are out at Dodge. Pre-registration encouraged.

Good to Know: Do not look directly at the sun during the eclipse since the sun will not be completely blocked by the moon. Viewing the sun without special eye protection may cause irreparable eye damage.

Location: Dodge Nature Center, Main Office Entrance 1, 365 Marie Ave. W. West St. Paul
